This opportunity to learn from Dr Kanal will:

You will be introduced to the Kanal Method for clinical decision-making, a methodical, standardised approach to scanning patients with devices, implants, and foreign bodies. The course discusses assessing risks versus benefits for any requested MR study and teaches the steps that can be undertaken to potentially mitigate those risks to a clinically acceptable level.
Over 8,000 MR professionals have attended Dr Kanal’s internationally acclaimed MRMD/MRSO course since its inception in 2014. Dr Kanal lectures extensively on clinical MR and MR safety-related topics, teaching the physics underlying the MR imaging process and how to clinically apply it. Dr Kanal serves as a consultant to industry in the design and implementation of MRI hardware, software, and MRI contrast agents. He is also the author of one of the most comprehensive clinical MR Tutor/Simulator software applications ever created, which is used extensively in his courses and lectures.
This will be a unique learning experience and a fantastic opportunity for attendees to foster new networks with colleagues and industry partners.

The course runs from Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th June, 2025
The course finishes at lunchtime on the Wednesday. Price includes lunch on the Monday and Tuesday, refreshments for all 3 days, plus a vendors’ exhibition at break times.
You will also benefit from a unique addition to the programme. Two one-hour live teaching sessions are planned post-course, delivered virtually by Dr Kanal. These sessions will provide further opportunity to consolidate your learning.

* To support those who are not being funded to access this education, a subsidised rate is provided.
Up to and including Monday 2nd of June, if you find that you are unable to attend the event for any reason, you have the choice to either request a full refund or convert your booking to another MRI Safety Matters event. After the 2nd of June, a refund is not possible.

CPD Now Endorsed
The learning outcomes of Kanal’s 5th European MRMD/MRSO Course are supported and endorsed by the College of Radiographers’ CPD Now scheme, as listed on the CPD Certificate of Endorsement. You will receive an individually named certificate listing these outcomes and stating that up to 20 hours of teaching had been provided.
CPD for radiographers and other allied health professions regulated by the HCPC is learning outcomes based, rather than points/credits/hours accumulating.
This course provides 20 hours/CPD credits in accordance with the CPD scheme of the Royal College of Radiologists.
